The Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC), recognized as the world's largest lender by assets, reported a 1% increase in its net profit for the 2025 fiscal year. Based in China, the banking giant announced that its net profit reached 370.77 billion yuan, equivalent to approximately $53.65 billion. This figure significantly exceeded the 358.54 billion yuan median estimate previously compiled by analysts. The financial results were released against a backdrop of a stable US Dollar / Chinese Yuan exchange rate, which stood at 6.9103 yuan per dollar at the time of the report.
