Prices for Gold held firm on Tuesday as escalating geopolitical tensions involving Iran sparked safe-haven buying, counterbalancing a cautious market mood ahead of a monetary policy update from the United States. Spot gold was nearly unchanged at $5,001.36 per ounce, while U.S. gold futures for April delivery rose slightly by 0.1% to reach $5,005.20.
