A combination of escalating conflict, severe drought, and a significant reduction in international aid is projected to keep global hunger at critical levels through 2026. The 10th edition of the Global Report on Food Crises indicates that acute food insecurity has doubled over the last decade, marked by unprecedented famines declared last year in Palestine and Sudan.
