The deal combines two specialist firms to establish the world’s largest investment manager dedicated solely to the healthcare sector. Investors gain a scaled vehicle targeting aging demographics, rising medical costs, and rapid technological adoption in global private markets.
### Creating a Global Healthcare Powerhouse The combined entity will deploy more than 200 professionals across 13 offices in North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific. These regions represent 90% of global healthcare research and development spending, according to a joint statement from the firms. The merger follows a report on the planned transaction by the Financial Times on Wednesday.
