Global equity funds recorded $31.46 billion in net inflows during the week ending February 6, 2026, as investors pivoted toward European equity funds and Asian equity funds. This shift was largely driven by a desire to reduce exposure to volatile technology shares in the US
US, which impacted flows into U.S. equity funds and resulted in a significant redistribution of capital across various regions and sectors.
According to data from London Stock Exchange Group plc Lipper, also known as LSEG Lipper, European equity funds drew approximately $14 billion, marking the strongest weekly demand for the region since April 30. This surge in interest occurred as the STOXX 600 hit a record high. Simultaneously, Asian equity funds saw notable demand, while the broader movement of capital supported increased interest in global bond funds, money market funds, and commodity funds, including gold and precious metals commodity funds.
