SGordered a precautionary recall in Singaporeof Danone SADumex Dulac 1 of Thailand origin and Nestle SANAN HA1 SupremePro of Swiss origin after detecting cereulide. Cereulide is a toxin produced by Bacillus cereus bacteria that can cause nausea and vomiting. Following the announcement, Danone SAstated it was working with the regulator in Singapore and emphasized that all its internal controls confirmed its products were safe, with no irregularities found relating to Bacillus cereus.
