German banks and regulators review Anthropic AI risks

Financial institutions and national authorities in Germany are examining the potential risks associated with Anthropic's new artificial intelligence model, Mythos, amid concerns that it could be used to facilitate cyberattacks. Kolja Gabriel, a member of the executive board at the German Banking Association, stated that the group is consulting with cybersecurity experts at its member banks, as well as the finance ministry and other regulators.
