Economic activity in Germany slowed to its weakest pace in three months during March, as the service sector lost momentum and geopolitical tensions in the Middle East drove up costs. According to the latest survey data from S&P Global Inc., the Flash Germany Composite PMI fell to 51.9 in March, down from 53.2 in February. This reading came in slightly below the 52.0 mark expected by economists, though it remains above the 50.0 threshold that separates growth from contraction.
