GENERAL MOTORS CO is indefinitely delaying its next-generation full-size electric truck program, which was originally slated to begin in 2028. The decision affects planned electric versions of the GMC Sierra and Chevrolet Silverado, as well as the Escalade IQ and Hummer SUV and pickup models. Suppliers were reportedly notified recently that the program has been halted without a new timetable for production, marking a shift for the automaker's operations in the United States.
