Foxconn Q4 profit drops 2.4 percent missing estimates
The world's largest contract electronics maker reported a net profit of T$45.51 billion for the final quarter. This result missed average analyst expectations.
The world's largest contract electronics manufacturer, Foxconn Technology Co., Ltd., reported a 2.4% decline in its fourth-quarter net profit on Monday, missing market expectations. Based in Taiwan, the company recorded a net profit of T$45.51 billion ($1.42 billion) for the period spanning October to December.

This financial performance fell significantly short of the T$63.86 billion consensus estimate provided by LSEG analysts. This dip in profitability comes despite the company's critical role in the global technology supply chain as the primary server manufacturer for NVIDIA Corporation and the leading assembler of iPhones for Apple Inc..
The results highlight the challenges facing major electronics producers as they navigate shifting demand in the global market. While the company remains a dominant force in both the smartphone and high-performance computing sectors, the latest quarterly figures indicate a period of slower growth compared to the same timeframe in the previous year.
