Emergency services in Russia have successfully contained a major blaze at the Tuapse oil refinery following a series of drone strikes launched by Ukraine. The facility, a critical node in the regional energy infrastructure, had reportedly halted operations earlier this week after an initial strike on April 16. Local officials in the Krasnodar region confirmed on Thursday that open flames at the sea terminal have been extinguished, though a massive contingent of 276 firefighters and 77 vehicles remains on-site to complete the cooling process.
