Experian launches 1 billion dollar share buyback program
The credit analytics firm expects organic revenue growth between 6% and 8% for fiscal 2027 following a 15% rise in annual operating profit. Experian plans to maintain a prudent approach next year due to macroeconomic uncertainties while continuing to see strong demand for its data services.
EXPERIAN PLC launched a $1 billion share buyback and forecast 6% to 8% organic revenue growth for fiscal 2027. The company's benchmark operating profit rose 15% to $2.40 billion for the year ended March 31, driven by strong demand for credit checks, mortgage inquiries and fraud screenings across all markets. Rising macroeconomic volatility linked to the Middle East prompted a more cautious approach for the coming year.
Client contract renewals for fraud screenings and other services boosted results. Experian reported growth across all geographic segments, including North America, the United Kingdom, Ireland and Latin America.
