European Central Bank Vice President Luis de Guindos warned on Thursday that the escalating conflict involving Iran could trigger systemic financial stress, despite the limited direct exposure currently held by euro zone banks. While financial markets have faced significant pressure recently due to the conflict involving the United States and Israel, the resulting selloff has largely been contained within the Middle East region.
