The results exceeded analyst expectations of $1.49 EPS and $24.78 billion in revenue. CEO Josh D'Amaro is targeting 12% adjusted EPS growth for fiscal 2026 as the company pivots toward streaming and live sports.
### Streaming and Content Gains Offset Sports Costs Operating income at the entertainment unit rose 6% to $1.34 billion, fueled by higher subscription and advertising revenue from Disney+. Box-office performance from titles like Zootopia 2 and Avatar: Fire and Ash also supported the division. CFO Hugh Johnston noted that streaming now generates double the revenue of the traditional television business.
