CopperTech Metals Files for New York Stock Exchange IPO
The Vedanta-backed producer reported annual net sales of 1.33 billion dollars as it prepares to list under the ticker CUX. Proceeds will fund production expansion at the Konkola Copper Mines in Zambia to meet rising demand from AI infrastructure and the global energy transition.
CopperTech Metals filed for a United States IPO on Tuesday evening after reporting net sales rose to $1.33 billion in fiscal 2026. The producer, owned by VEDANTA LTD, operates the Konkola mines in Zambia to capitalize on a U.S. policy push for mineral self-reliance. Investors are tracking the offering as a sign of a broader market rebound that includes potential listings for high-profile firms like SpaceX and Anthropic.
Sales from the Konkola operations reached $1.33 billion for the year ended March 31, up from $398 million a year earlier. CopperTech plans to list on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker CUX. Proceeds will fund production expansion at Konkola and international exploration.
