CITIC Resources sets up Singapore office to double energy trade volumes
CITIC Resources launched a Singapore unit to double energy trade volumes. The firm aims for 50 million barrels while expanding into refined products.
CITIC Resources Holdings has established a new energy trading subsidiary in Singapore
SG named CRH Commodity as part of a strategic push to significantly expand its global commodity operations. The company, which commenced oil and gas trading sourced from Australia
AU in 2024, has announced an ambitious target to increase its trading volumes to more than 50 million barrels within the next three to five years.
The move to set up CRH Commodity represents a planned substantial increase in both the scale of the company’s commodity trading and its overall product scope, including refined products trading. This expansion follows a year of solid performance in which the firm recorded trading volumes of approximately 20 million barrels and generated $1.5 billion in revenue. The company aims to leverage this momentum to broaden its reach across international markets.
