The discussions at Incheon airport follow separate meetings with the South Korean president and precede a two-day leadership meeting in Beijing. The preliminary talks lay groundwork for a summit between President Donald Trump and President Xi Jinping.

Those talks are set to run from Thursday to Friday in the Chinese capital.
