Huaqin Launches 581 Million Dollar Hong Kong Share Sale
Shanghai-listed Huaqin is offering 58.5 million shares at up to HK$77.70 each. The firm expects to begin trading on April 23 as Hong Kong remains a key hub.
China-based technology firm HUAQIN TECHNOLOGY CO LTD-A has launched a share sale in Hong Kong, aiming to raise up to HK$4.55 billion ($580.85 million). The move comes as the city's capital markets continue to attract interest despite market volatility driven by the conflict in Iran.
The Shanghai-listed electronics manufacturer is offering 58.5 million shares for the global offering at a maximum price of HK$77.70 per share. This offering is valued against the USD/HKD exchange rate. Huaqin expects the final offer price to be released no later than April 22, with shares scheduled to begin trading on April 23 under the stock code 3296.
Huaqin's listing follows a series of other Chinese technology firms choosing the Asian financial hub for capital raises. Earlier this week, VICTORY GIANT TECHNOLOGY -A launched a Hong Kong share sale seeking HK$17.5 billion, marking the largest equity offering since the start of the war more than a month ago. Meanwhile, battery manufacturer CONTEMPORARY AMPEREX TECHN-A is reportedly considering a fresh share sale of nearly $5 billion, following its record $4.6 billion raise in the city in 2025.
