China slashes planned tariffs on European Union dairy imports in final ruling
Beijing reduced final tariffs on European dairy imports to between 7.4 and 11.7 percent today. The decision follows an 18-month probe into the sector.

CN’s Ministry of Commerce issued a final anti-dumping ruling today, February 12, 2026, following an 18-month investigation into dairy products from the European Union
EU. The decision establishes definitive tariff rates between 7.4% and 11.7%, which will take effect on February 13 for a five-year period. These final rates are substantially lower than the preliminary figures announced in December and cover more than $506.3 million of imports.
