Carrefour Eyes Growth in 2026 After Integration Costs Impact Annual Profit

Carrefour reported lower 2025 profits due to store integration costs. CEO Alexandre Bompard will unveil a new strategic plan tomorrow to boost performance.

Carrefour (SY:CARREFOUR) reported on February 17, 2026, that its recurring operating income for 2025 fell to €2.158 billion, representing a 5.4% reported decline. The financial performance was significantly impacted by a €210 million one-off integration charge stemming from the acquisition of the Cora (SY:CORA) and Match (SY:MATCH) stores in France FRFR. This integration-related hit materially lowered the reported operating profit for 2025, acting as the primary trigger for the decrease in the group's recurring operating income.
