Economic activity in Canada expanded at its fastest pace in five months during February, as inventories climbed and overall business momentum accelerated. The seasonally adjusted Ivey Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) rose to 56.6 last month from 50.9 in January, reaching its highest level since September. The index serves as a primary gauge of economic health, with readings above 50 indicating expansion.
