Jack Daniel's maker Brown-Forman has appointed former Whirlpool executive Jim Peters as its new CFO. He succeeds Leanne Cunningham who retires after five years.

The spirits manufacturer BROWN-FORMAN CORP-CLASS B has announced the appointment of Jim Peters as its new Chief Financial Officer, effective March 31. Peters, a veteran executive from the appliance industry, will take over the role from Leanne Cunningham, who is scheduled to retire on May 1 after a career spanning more than 30 years at the company.
