Brent crude futures fall over 7 percent on Tuesday
Brent crude fell over 7 percent to $91.71 on Tuesday. The drop followed comments from President Trump suggesting an early end to conflict in the Middle East.
Global energy markets experienced a significant downturn on Tuesday as Brent Crude Oil futures fell by more than 7%. The sharp decline followed indications that geopolitical tensions in the Middle East might be nearing a resolution, which helped to alleviate concerns regarding prolonged disruptions to the global oil supply.
The market shift was triggered by comments from the President of the United States, Donald Trump, who suggested that the ongoing conflict in the Middle East could reach an end soon. This prospect of peace led to a rapid sell-off as the risk premium associated with potential supply interruptions began to evaporate.

By 0001 GMT, Brent crude futures were trading at $91.71 per barrel, marking a decrease of $7.25 or 7.3%. This correction stands in stark contrast to the previous session's performance, when the contract reached a high of $119.50 on Monday.
