BP PLC will resume contract negotiations with union leaders on Monday, May 18, to resolve a months-long labor dispute at its Whiting refinery. The 440,000-barrel-per-day facility in the United States has locked out approximately 800 workers since March 19. A resolution would stabilize operations at the largest refinery in the U.S. Midwest.
