Workers at a copper refinery operated by Glencore plc in North Queensland, Australia, have initiated industrial action following a breakdown in labor negotiations that have spanned nearly a year. The Australian Workers Union (AWU) confirmed on Friday that union members halted operations at the Townsville refinery for four hours before resuming their shifts.
