ASML reports record orders and raises sales outlook as AI demand grows

ASML Holding N.V. reported record quarterly orders of 13.2 billion euros and raised its 2026 sales guidance. The company also announced a massive share buyback.

Dutch semiconductor equipment maker ASML Holding N.V. reported a record fourth-quarter order intake of 13.2 billion euros on Wednesday, significantly exceeding analyst expectations as the global chip industry ramps up capacity for artificial intelligence. The quarterly bookings, which are considered the most-watched industry metric for the firm based in the Netherlands NLNL, rose from 7.1 billion euros a year earlier and surpassed the 6.32 billion euros forecast by analysts at Visible Alpha. In light of this performance, the company raised its 2026 sales guidance to a range of 34 billion euros to 39 billion euros, an increase from its 2025 sales of 32.7 billion euros.
