Bloomberg News reported that Waymo is aiming to raise about $16 billion in a financing round valuing it at nearly $110 billion, citing people familiar with the matter. The Bloomberg report said Alphabet Inc. would provide about $13 billion and the rest would come from investors including Sequoia Capital, DST Global and Dragoneer Investment Group. Alphabet Inc.and Waymo did not immediately respond to Reuters' request for comment, and Reuters could not immediately verify the report.
