AerCap places order for 100 Airbus A320neo family jets
AerCap announced on Wednesday that it has agreed to purchase 100 Airbus A320neo family jets. The deal expands the leasing giant's narrowbody aircraft fleet.
The aviation leasing giant AerCap has announced a firm agreement to purchase 100 A320neo-family aircraft from Airbus SE. The deal, revealed on Wednesday, signals a robust outlook for the narrow-body jet market as lessors continue to modernize their portfolios with more efficient technology.

The A320neo family is widely regarded for its fuel savings and reduced noise footprint, making it a preferred choice for airlines globally. This latest commitment from AerCap further solidifies the relationship between the world's largest aircraft lessor and the European plane maker. Following the integration of these new units, the lessor will continue to hold one of the largest order books for the Airbus SE single-aisle family.
