Adani Ports to invest $1.36 billion in Europe expansion
Adani Ports will invest 1.36 billion dollars to expand European offshore operations. The firm aims to build a 200-vessel fleet to diversify its global revenue.
Adani Ports will invest $1.36 billion through fiscal 2031 to expand its offshore marine capabilities in Europe. The India-based operator is partnering with U.S. engineering firm Oceaneering International to build a specialized fleet. The expansion targets 60 billion rupees ($627.43 million) in marine revenue as Adani Ports diversifies away from its domestic port core.
### Scaling Offshore Logistics in Europe Astra Offshore, the marine services unit of Adani Ports, will develop a fleet of 200 vessels with specialized offshore capabilities. This move aims to capture rising demand for maritime logistics across European waters. Adani Ports executives said the strategy focuses on building a global presence in high-margin maritime services.
