The chief executive of Volkswagen AG, Oliver Blume, has stated that the automotive industry in Germany could learn significant lessons from the disciplined industrial planning seen in China. In a recent interview, Blume noted that the Chinese approach is highly structured and characterized by clear priorities, which he believes is an optimal model for development.
"The Chinese proceed in a very planned way ... and have clear priorities - it is structured in an optimal way," Blume told Bild am Sonntag.
