洞察:
Three airlines from Vietnam VNVN have finalized agreements with The Boeing Company to acquire a total of 90 aircraft, a transaction reported to be valued at approximately $30 billion. The deal was announced during a visit by Vietnam’s Communist Party head To Lam to the United States USUS, coinciding with the inaugural meeting of the Board of Peace and ongoing bilateral trade negotiations.
The purchase involves Vietnam Airlines, Sun PhuQuoc Airways, and Vietjet, marking a series of large commercial orders for the American aerospace manufacturer. The reported individual agreement values include deals of approximately $8.1 billion and $22.5 billion, in addition to a $965 million financing arrangement involving Griffin Global Asset Management. These transactions, which were noted during engagements involving The White House and Donald Trump, are set to fundamentally change the planned fleet sizes for the participating carriers.
