United States Attorney Jeanine Pirro said on Sunday morning that the Federal Reserve Inspector General’s findings will determine if she resumes her criminal probe into Chair Jerome Powell. Pirro dropped the investigation in April after a federal judge blocked subpoenas, citing evidence of political pressure to lower interest rates. The move clears a path for the Senate to confirm Kevin Warsh as Powell’s successor before May 15.
