The Germany utility Uniper SE is currently shielded from the energy volatility sparked by the latest conflict in the Middle East, according to Chief Executive Michael Lewis. Speaking on Wednesday following the release of the group's annual results, Lewis clarified that the company does not procure liquefied natural gas (LNG) from the region where recent United States and Israel military actions against Iran have caused fluctuations in oil and gas prices.
