Ukraine and EU Discuss 90 Billion Euro Loan Package
Sybiha urged Kaja Kallas to unblock a 90 billion euro loan on Tuesday. The officials also reviewed Hungarian election results and the regional European agenda.
In a high-level diplomatic exchange, Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha held a telephone conversation with the European Union's foreign policy chief, Kaja Kallas. The primary focus of the discussion was the urgent need to unblock a 90 billion euro loan intended to support the nation's ongoing recovery and defense efforts.
The financial package, valued at approximately $105 billion based on current EUR/USD exchange rates, remains a critical component of the international support strategy. Sybiha emphasized that securing these funds is a priority for maintaining national stability.
