Manufacturing sentiment across the United Kingdom has plummeted to its lowest level since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, as geopolitical instability and surging costs weigh heavily on the industrial sector. According to the latest quarterly survey from the Confederation of British Industry (CBI), business optimism has collapsed amid the ongoing conflict involving Iran, which has triggered a sharp spike in inflationary expectations.
