The United States Trade Representative Jamieson Greer has announced that upcoming trade negotiations in Mexico will focus on the persistent issue of offshoring and the revision of product rules of origin. During a congressional budget hearing on Thursday, Greer noted that despite the implementation of the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA), which was intended to discourage the relocation of American business operations, the trend has continued.
