The primary stock index in Canada finished higher for the second consecutive session on Tuesday, as investor concerns regarding a protracted conflict in the Middle East began to ease. The S&P/TSX Composite Index rose 81.33 points, or 0.3%, to close at 33,270.65. This recovery follows a period of uncertainty where the index had previously touched its lowest intraday level since early February.
