The main stock index in Canada ended its six-day winning streak on Thursday as investors weighed geopolitical instability in the Middle East against the potential for artificial intelligence to disrupt the technology sector. The S&P/TSX Composite Index declined by 142.86 points, or 0.4%, to close at 33,477.71.
