TOYOTA MOTOR CORP reported a second consecutive month of declining global vehicle sales in March, as the automotive giant faced headwinds from regional instability and a major model transition for its flagship SUV.
Global sales for the automaker, which includes the luxury Lexus brand, contracted by 7.3% compared to the previous year, totaling 897,871 units. The downturn was felt across both domestic and international markets, with sales in Japan dropping by 7.8% and overseas deliveries falling by 7.2%.
