Canada's main stock index recorded its largest daily drop in a month on Tuesday as investors reacted to renewed geopolitical uncertainty in the Middle East. The S&P/TSX Composite Index finished down 551.73 points, or 1.6%, at 33,808.30. This sharp decline follows Monday's session, where the market reached its highest closing level in seven weeks.
