The multibillion-dollar fishing industry in Thailand is nearing a total standstill as soaring diesel prices, exacerbated by the conflict involving the United States, Israel, and Iran, threaten to idle the nation's fleet. At the country’s largest fishing port in Samut Sakhon, more than half of the trawlers are already docked, with the remaining vessels expected to stop operations within days.
