Tesla China Vehicle Sales Rise 8.7 Percent in March
Tesla sold 85,670 China-made vehicles in March, marking an 8.7% increase from a year earlier. Sales of Model 3 and Model Y units rose 46.2% from February.
TESLA INC recorded an 8.7% year-over-year increase in sales for its electric vehicles manufactured in China during March, with total deliveries reaching 85,670 units. This performance marks the fifth consecutive month of gains for the United States-based automaker as it navigates a landscape defined by heightened competition and a strategic pivot toward broader technology sectors.
Data provided by the China Passenger Car Association on Thursday showed that sales of the Model 3 and Model Y vehicles produced at the Shanghai Gigafactory rose by 46.2% compared to February. These figures encompass both domestic deliveries and exports to international markets, including Europe.
