Terra Quantum eyes Nasdaq listing at 3.25 billion dollars
Terra Quantum plans to list on Nasdaq this year through a SPAC merger valuing the firm at 3.25 billion dollars. The capital will support its global growth.
Terra Quantum, a quantum technology firm based in Switzerland and Germany, has announced plans to go public on the Nasdaq through a merger with a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC). The deal values the company at $3.25 billion.

The company has signed a non-binding letter of intent with Mountain Lake Acquisition Corp. II to facilitate the transaction. Founder and CEO Markus Pflitsch noted that the United States was chosen for the listing because it serves as the primary engine for growth and regulatory standards in the quantum sector.
"The U.S. is the powerhouse and the benchmark here."
"And we want to be playing in the Champions League."
Pflitsch, who will remain a major shareholder, stated that the SPAC route offers less exposure to market turbulence and to competition for investors from conventional initial public offerings. The funds raised from the listing are intended to support growth, including product development and acquisitions.
Founded in 2019 and headquartered in St. Gallen, Terra Quantum specializes in algorithms, software, and security products designed for industries such as defense, finance, pharmaceuticals, and logistics. The company’s portfolio includes collaborations with the U.S. Air Force and global entities like SIEMENS AG-REG, UNILEVER PLC, and HSBC HOLDINGS PLC, as well as BBVA. These projects have explored quantum applications in areas such as drone design and derivatives pricing.
While specific financial figures have not been disclosed, the company reports significant revenue streams from its intellectual property and algorithm library. The listing is expected to take place later this year, though a specific date has not yet been finalized.
