TCS beats fourth quarter revenue estimates on banking gains

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) reported fourth-quarter revenue on Thursday that surpassed market expectations, driven by strength in its banking and consumer business segments. The company, recognized as the largest software services exporter in India, saw its consolidated sales for the March quarter rise 9.7% to 706.98 billion rupees ($7.63 billion). This performance exceeded the average analyst estimate of 694.94 billion rupees, according to data compiled by LSEG.
