PolyPeptide Group Attracts Takeover Interest from EQT and KKR
Swiss drugmaker PolyPeptide Group is drawing interest from EQT and KKR. Any potential deal would likely involve the company's controlling shareholder.
Switzerland contract drugmaker POLYPEPTIDE GROUP AG is reportedly drawing preliminary takeover interest from several major private equity firms. According to reports from Bloomberg News, the company has become a target for potential take-private deals as the sector sees renewed consolidation activity.
Among the interested parties are EQT AB and KKR & CO INC, both of which are said to be evaluating the feasibility of an acquisition. Additionally, Advent International has reportedly been studying the possibility of a bid for the peptide manufacturer. Any firm pursuing a transaction would likely need to coordinate with Swedish billionaire Frederik Paulsen Jr., the controlling shareholder from Sweden who maintains a significant stake in the group.
