Wealthy individuals are seeking to relocate their assets from the Gulf region to Switzerland as geopolitical tensions escalate following military strikes involving Iran, Israel, and the United States. Financial advisers and bankers, who collectively manage more than $1 trillion, indicate that the Middle East conflict is driving a significant flight to safety. While Switzerland has faced stiff competition from emerging financial hubs in Asia and the Middle East, cash positions held in the country by private individuals and non-banks from the United Arab Emirates have grown by approximately 40% over the last three years.
