Swedish financial regulator fines SBB for accounting violations

The Financial Supervisory Authority (FI) has imposed an 80 million Swedish crowns sanction fee on real estate group SBB for accounting violations in its 2021 consolidated financial statements. This regulatory action, which was announced as completed on February 18, 2026, in Sweden
SE, follows an investigation that found the company’s reported earnings were 3.6 billion Swedish crowns higher than they should have been. The regulator determined that the errors led to an incorrect stated financial position for the group.
