According to the company's prospectus, the offering involves 1.97 billion shares, representing a 17.1% stake in the healthcare provider. This pricing establishes a total valuation of 16.7 billion ringgit for the group, with shares expected to begin trading on March 18. A subsidiary of the Malaysian conglomerate Sunway, the healthcare division ranks among the top private medical providers in the country. As of January 2026, the company managed a total of 1,805 licensed beds. Its flagship asset, Sunway Medical Centre located in Kuala Lumpur, is currently the largest private hospital in the nation. The final pricing aligns with the group's earlier projections. Reuters previously reported that Sunway Healthcare was preparing for a debut on Bursa Malaysia with an offering that could exceed 3 billion ringgit and a valuation surpassing 15 billion ringgit.
