SpaceX proposes 55 billion dollar Terafab plant in Texas

SpaceX**** proposed a $55 billion investment to build a semiconductor manufacturing facility called Terafab in Texas, according to a public filing on Wednesday. The multi-phase project aims to expand domestic chip production capacity. The facility is planned in Grimes County.

SpaceX estimates the total investment could reach $119 billion if all additional phases are completed. The complex will house advanced computing and chip fabrication units.
