STANDARD CHARTERED PLC and Bain & Company forecast Southeast Asia's power demand from green sectors will grow by more than 100 terawatt-hours in the next three to four years. This surge requires $200 billion in investment, with data centers accounting for more than half of the total capital needs. Investors face an $18 billion annual grid investment shortfall that threatens to stall regional digital and industrial expansion.
